11:00 AM - At high tide the surf looks rideable for longboarding... No one is out at the Poles and the perfect little swells go unridden. It's knee high + and glassy with excellent form. Overall, the Poles looks much better than the Pier and although it's real small, it does look rideable for now. As the tide drops the tiny waves should drop as well. Stay tuned...
7:45 AM - It's cold and rainy with flat to small surf this morning... It's about shin to knee high and weak. A new small swell may pop up late in the weekend and into early next week. Overall, today is a good day to get your holiday shopping done at SUNRISE SURF SHOP. Give them a check and we'll keep you posted on the surf...

Aaron Frosio grew up in Neptune Beach, FL. surfing the same east coast
waves you have been surfing all your life. He came up through the amateur
ranks of the ESA and NSSA and received many titles along the way. This
paved the way for a professional career on the WQS where he was ranked
among the top 60 surfers in the world. He traveled the world for 7 years
and surfed many different waves. The ones he fell in love with are in
Costa Rica. Aaron has 16 years of surfing experience in Costa Rica. His
knowledge of this area will put you on the right break at the right time.

catering to Jacksonville and the beaches community. The concept of combining
a restaurant and a surf museum was conceived by owner Mike Ferrara. He
is a local surfer with extensive restaurant experience. The surfing heritage
of Jacksonville's beaches is greater than most people are familiar with
and Ferrara has taken this idea to the next level. Long time friend Mitch
Kaufmann was able to collect photos, surfboards, and other surf memorabilia
from the past 40 years or so for Ferrara's venture. Combine this with
